Report writers and publishers Business Model

Many specialist report writing companies already make reports available on the internet. Where Gibli aims to give them competitive advantage is amongst the medium sized companies which are unlikely to be prime targets for their sales campaigns.

Gibli will do this by developing a community of both report writers and report buyers amongst the medium sized SMEs (small to medium sized enterprises), and to do this cross industry, so that all areas of interest are welcome to become part of this community.

Initially adding or uploading reports to Gibli.com will be entirely free, which means that any perceived risk a report publisher takes in moving into this new sales channel will be at zero cost.

Where Gibli makes its living is in charging a 15% commission on each sale, and the uploading process is easy and quick to manage.
